Last 2 weeks in Korea.

Well i'm sure everybody is wondering why am i heading home after only being here for 2 weeks plus. It's really a hard decision for me to make but i guess it's the best for my future for now.

First of all, i would really want to thank everybody who are in Korea, whichever and wherever part of the world are u from, THANK YOU for being here for me when I was in Korea. It's certainly a journey that i will never forget till the day i day. And also i would like to say thank you to KNU for giving me the opportunity to come over here. It is certainly an experience of a lifetime and i'll always remember what i've learnt over here.

Well. the main reason why i'm leaving Korea to go back to further my studies is because: the college which i'm currently at now (Owens International College) recently offered us a 2 + 2 program which transfers us to Oklahoma City University which offers a degree in Business Admin which i'm not interested in. Although it is possible for me to stay for the next 3 years in KNU, however I think i'll be the only 2 or 3 students left behind and i really do not want to be in a class with only that few students. That is why I will be heading home on the 28th of March to further my studies, majoring in either International Business or Marketing, depending on which university i'll be attending.

:) so that's the reason why i'm heading home. I will definitely miss Korea when i head home. I'll continue to upload pictures as i'll be travelling to few places this week. so stay tune yeah!

Touching week before going home.

Well time really do flies. I can't believe it's already december! and I'll be heading back home in less than 5 days! well last week was certainly a week FULL of ups and down. But i thank God for everything that has happened. I'm glad that i've already let go of things that are not worth having. :)

Last Friday was indeed a touching day for me because it was my last day teaching in the kindergarden.. I can't believe i actually didn't want to leave because they're just so so cute! Well here are some pictures of what i did on that day.. Food of the day: Goreng Pisang!

I think if i make this for Malaysians comfirm fail! thankfully they enjoyed it.. hahahaha..

There are just SO SO CUTE I TELL YOU! and it's so funny cause they just speak and speak Korean to me and i just smile at them because i barely understand what they're actually saying.. LOL!

Well God answered my prayer too! Before that i was complaining to my friends because I really wanted to experience snow before heading back home. Well guess wat? last Saturday it DID SNOW!! It was snowing the whole morning and afternoon.. Unfortunately i wasn't able to take much pictures because of the thin snow.. Which means everything just turn into water when it reaches the ground..

Well this is gonna be last week here before i head home so i'm gonna make the most out of it! :)

A simple line yet it is filled with so much meaning in it.
We're given a choice to do the things we want. God DO NOT force us to do things. He gave us a choice to do right and wrong, and through it all experience this journey of life that is full of everything. Joy, Laughter, Sadness, Pain, Love, Hatred and many other emotions.

Well the year is coming to and end. As I'm reflecting about this year, it is indeed a challenging year for me. Yet I'm very thankful because I've became who I am today. I know I'm not a perfect person, yet the mistakes and right choices made has made me wiser day by day. I personally agree that we should live life with no regret and just make the most out of it.

Some things just happens for a reason. I know because of my past I am constantly judge today. Yet, I still treat it as a challenge to prove to many that I am not who I am like the past. This year I've certainly made choices which I really feel good about it. I have no regrets coming here to Korea. This year in Korea did gave me time to clear my head from the hectic working + studying life of Malaysia and to think and reflect of who i have become and who I want to be in the future. I guess God do works in ways we least expect.

7 more days and I'll be back home. I'm pretty optimistic and I'm really hoping that everything will be going according to plan. But, of course I must always be ready for the worst because there are so many things which I ought correct cause of the mistakes I've done during the past. God pls be there for me and give me wisdom for the next 3 months back home.

Sorry for not updating my blog ppl. My mind have been pretty clouded lately. Too much thoughts and distraction which makes me up and down almost everyday. I really want to go back Malaysia T.T.. I doubt it's because i'm having homesick or whatsoever but i think it's cause i just want to see with my eyes what's actually happening rather than just hearing stories from other people.

Ok enough of myself. Last week, Owens International College (OIC-the course which i'm currently in now) had lunch together in some traditional Chinese restaurant. For me, i've sorta expected something Korean-ish rather than pure Chinese food after eating in several chinese restaurants. Well i guess this is the closest i've ever tasted so far. So here are some pictures. not many though. But I did have my tummy filled! YUMZ!

Salmon + Char Siew (Pork) + Century Egg and some vege. Char Siew really reminded me of Char Siew rice back home! My favourite!

Some noodles if i'm not wrong. I can't recall what was it already. Haha..

The usual korean side dishes which is a MUST in every Korean restaurants. Unfortunately i don't eat any of them..

This sweet sour prawn is awesome! One of my favorites of the day!

After lunch we went to Asan to some park which was supposta be our Korean class group assignment. It was freezing cold that day! i seriously froze eventhough i had a sweater with me.. T.T but it was a nice walk around the park.

If the weather was around 15C i think i'll really enjoy myself over here.. Will definitely come here again!

According to the Johari Window, it is good to move more parts of your life to the known window so that you're not secretive to people. So i've decided to move some of my unknown talents and hidden talents to the known window today. :) I think many will be shocked because there are some 1st tries but yet a very successful one..

yeah you heard that, i've been working part time in a kindergarden teaching Malay language in Korea. YES, MALAY! haha cool eh?

yeah u heard it! my 1st attempt to make curry chicken and nasi goreng together with Christine and Joanne. But i did most of the cooking job and Christine being the commander and Joanne preparing the ingredients.
Cooked for Dr Bondy and Prof Linda with some other students.

The end result! 2 plates of nasi goreng and a pot of curry chicken. The nasi goreng nearer in front is prepared by Christine and I whereas the one further back is done by Joanne.

This rocks! Home cook food does decreases homesickness!!

Thank God they said it was alright! But personally i think if i let my mom tried i would fail this nasi goreng test.

Mid terms are finally OVER! And the better part is before i know it i'll be back in Malaysia! This semester is really moving at a blink of an eye. I think I'm getting the hang of it in living in Korea. Unlike the last semester i was always think about home and stuffs but this semester is indeed faster than i've expected. Why? The weather perhaps?

Days are definitely getting colder day by day. Winter is coming! I really hope i'll be able to experience winter with white snow before heading back home. Keeping my fingers croosed! Anyways some pictures taken around my University. Leaves are dropping, and some of them are changing from green to many other colours.!

Well midterms exam are coming up so i do not have much time to blog nowadays. Not much happening stuffs. Below are some random pictures taken just for fun. :) a lot of people wonder what do eat normally so i'll just post a few up for u guys to see.. And there are also some pictures of the current autumn weather. Weather is getting cold day by day. I'm really looking forward for winter to come!! Eye-opener tuesday.

Yesterday, I was given a rare opportunity to experience live ballet with a mixture of korean history. It was certainly an interesting one because firstly, it was my first time watchin a live ballet performance, and secondly, i was able to learn more about Korean history through this performance. Just wanna say thank you to Prof. Michelle Park for giving us the tickets to watch the performance! :)

Lots of things has been happening, for the past 11 months, and one of the most extreme happened past few days.

As i was blog hopping around my own friend list, i came into one which really got me to think. SOOtotlikxiangs blog.. haha.. It was a post where he mentioned about Jekyll and Hyde, how he wish life was simpler, and other stuffs. And i certainly agree on that fully.

Reflecting on my 20 years of living, life during young, and living life now, is certainly so different. In this modern age, in this world where people only seek self-interest, and will do whatever to take to reach it goals. I admit i was
delusioned by it also. It happened when i was so focused and was willing to do whatever to take it back where the fact is its already gone. It took me such a long time to realize such a simple stuffs.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. Everything happen according to God's plan and according to His Big Picture. Choices are given to us, temptation and opportunity are given, and God is up there looking, seeing how do we make use of it. How do we make the most out of our opportunity, and how to do we learn from mistakes. It is certainly not easy handling all of them, but it's gonna be worth it at the end of the day.

I believe that when words are spoken face-to-face, it speaks much louder than msn, or whatever text message or any other form of conversation. That talk over the phone gave me a wake up call. There wasn't any hope left between me and you. It's not gonna work out anymore. You've already fallen for another person after all that's happen. You do not trust me anymore and will not trust me because of all the mistakes i've made.

I've only learnt how to treasure u after the breakup. But i guess, its all too late?
But i believe that this has really taught me a lot. Some with me realizing it and some of them i will realize it on the way. It's never easy and it won't be easy. Facing u as a normal person with the person that i distrust most, it'll be one of the greatest challenge and test given to me. But i'll make use of my time in Korea to build up self-control. With God's help, with His strength, i can archieve this.

Ok time to hit the books. No more of this. Sorry for troubling my closest friends that i bugged when i was rock bottom. I'm gonna rise, and this time stronger as ever.

Last weekend, the Koreans celebrated Chuseok day (thanksgiving day, also known as Mooncake festival for us Malaysians.) It was a get together time for all family members where they spend time together doing family traditions and other stuffs. We left on Thursday after class. Thanks to Sojin that offered us (Christine, Joanne and I) to stay in her house for 4 days. :)

As you can see, the bus terminal was CROWDED with people because everybody was rushing to get a ticket to back back home.. It was crazy. 1st time in Korea where i lined up for 30 minutes just to get a bus ticket. I wonder how long did the others wait?

After 3 hours of travelling, we finally arrived to Sojin's house. Welcomed warmly by their family.

This happened on the 2nd day where we were taught how to make some traditional food. Sojin the teacher of the day.. haha..

if i'm not wrong, the ingredient is rice plus other stuffs.. haha..

It's actually like dumpling. Just that the shape is a little rounder if compared to dumpling.

The most unique one is mine!! haha.. made it look like curry puff..

The next day Sojin's father brought us to the beach during the afternoon to participate in some event..

A great weekend!

Last Saturday, I went to the Cheonan 2009 Well-Being Food Expo which was held somewhere in Cheonan. It took me about 45 minutes to reach that place. Yeah I was suppose to pay for this ticket but my kind roommate gave me this ticket because he couldn't make it on Saturday. I went there with 3 other Chinese students. And the funniest part is i was suppose to be the tour guide of the day because among the 4 of us, I was the only one that knew the mose Korean.. T.T stress betul!

But it was a fun day. Do not be decieved by the event title ok? When i 1st saw it i was expecting to see all the health food being promoted. But i guess i was wrong.. haha.. ok enough said, time for the pictures to do the talking!

Today i had one of the most interesting classes i've ever had in my life. For this semester i'm required to learn american english sign language. It was kinda interesting as we're learning with 2 professors. This class really reminded me about how precious and how thankful that God has given me normal life. I really can't imagine if I were not able to listen. I'm gonna do my best for this class.. Hopefully i'm able too.. >< It's really really hard for me because of all the hand gestures and also the facial expression we were suppose to show. But nevertherless i had loads of fun!

Previous week of enjoymen before class!

Finally classes has started! After one week of staying in my room most of the time downloading, watching movie, playing dota, and slacking in the room, finally finally class has started! Oh no i sound like i'm so excited for class. It's just because i'm too bored of this lifeless routine that's why i can't wait for class to start.

Anyways last week besides all the movie watching, there was one significant thing that happened.. haha.. It was my first time babysitting! Christine and I were asked by our church pastor to take care of 5 kids because he wanted to celebrate his birthday with his friends. so yeah! it was a challenge taking care of 5 kids at once k?

I guess there's nothing much or now.. New classes, new lecturers, new roommates, new adventure? hmm.. there's something i'm looking forward for this semester..

Sorry for not updating my blog as often as usual. Eversince I was back in M'sia, my time is pretty filled up with activity. Because of that I did not have the time to update my blog.. Praying hard that with God's help i'll be able to make a difference in people's life. This holiday has really opened my eyes to many things. Things are definitely not the same anymore. Hey people..

So yeah i've been back for a month already and so far there's been only 2 updates..
so what have i been doing lately?

1) My birthday..
2) People's Birthday..
3) Gatherings...
4) Farewellss...

and so on..

The past 1 month is certainly what i've not expected... I think i over expect stuffs before coming back to Malaysia.. I was expecting everything to be fine when the fact is it's not.. Everything's normal i guess.. But there's only one thing which has been bothering me all along..

i only have 26 more days left in Malaysia... can i make the most out of it?
thank God that i'm done with work.. now only formatting computer as my side business.. i've been spending too much that i can't even fund for me ART guitar anymore.. :(

God i need u most now.. This trip has really opened my eyes to so many things..
Eartly stuffs, materialism will never ever satisfy me.. no matter how much i want it because once i have it, i'll eventually get bored of it...

Love is really blind.. things are clearly seen when a person is not in a relationship.. People try so hard, do so much, just go get the person's hard. Is it worth it in the end? to lose others on the way? you said u want everything to be normal, we could be best friends, but nothing's coming to past.

Sorry for not updating my blog or replying my chatbox.. haha.. the main reason for my absence is because i'm finally back in Malaysia! I'm back since last Sunday and i'm gonna be back till aug 29th.. so ppl call me to hang out ok?

Life in Malaysia has been allright so far if you minus my emotional part.. i'm so glad that i've finally gotten a job.. and MALAYSIA FOOD!! wohoo.. xD

Life after exams!

FINALLY! Exams are OVER! After 4 months in Korea, for the first time in my entire life for leaving home so long, I'm finally have few more days left till i'll be back in Malaysia. So to use my days left in Korea, I've decided to do some touring with my Malaysian gang again.. The only 3 of us, with the help of my Korean friends, decided to visit few places to release our stress...

Friday

Right after the morning presentation, we all took the subway and left to Suwon. My friend said that Suwon is much cheaper if compared to Myeongdong which i've been previously. Sadly, this place isn't as big as Myeongdong. But I finally got the things I've wanted!

If you wanna shop in Korea, the streets are one of the best places to shop if compared to shop..

Look at the amount of bags they have here!! And this is only one shop..

After few hours of shopping, we decided to have lunch in some shop.. Was very very fascinated by the restaurant. See we can just stick notes and put it on the wall.. chun eh?

Pls don't ask me what those notes means.. I know how to read but i've no idea what it is about..

One thing which I'm always fascinated is the socks they have in Korea.

Monday.

On Monday, my Korean class lecturer, Prof Kim, invited us over to her place to stay. She was only free after 5. So to make full use of our time, we decided to go there early to have a look at the surroundings.. We went to Dong De Mun (wait did i spell that correctly?) which is a 3 hours subway ride from my university.

Somehow this building looks like some ancient China building..

Had some traditional Korean food for lunch..

Looks nice? hmm.. it's not too bad but the taste of the soup is kinda weak... quite tasteless..

The highlight of the day was my trip down to In Sa Dong.. A very famous tourist spot..

The amount of tourist here... wow.. so so so so many people.. Saw many japanese, china, western people here too..

I don't know why but i suddenly fell in love with drawings..

After visiting In Sa Dong, my Korean class teacher finally came and she brought us to this very very famous ginseng chiken restaurant..

Brown water (I think it's water with some tea) with ginseng +alcohol.. The ginseng drink is a MUST try!

Ginseng Chicken.. The soup is nice but the ginseng.. Err.. not my cup of tea..

If u can see the picture clearly, the rice is actually inside the chicken.. It's very yummy ok?

Choices

Exams are up this week.. I can't believe that time flies so fast.. before i know it i'll be back in Malaysia to have my holidays.. So 2009 is reaching it's middle soon. What have i learnt so far?

Happy and painful experiences, life full of friends and life of loneliness, life on relying on myself and relyin on God, life on 2 extremes. I guess i'm experiencing the change now.. Sometimes i really wonder what choices are right and which are wrong.. But i guess that's what makes life right? nobody really knows until they've tried it.. So many mistakes that i've done that i wished it can be unwind, but it's not possible because God let it happen. He gave me the choice to flee or fall for the mistake. But whatever it is, at the end of the day, the lesson learnt from that mistake makes me to who am i today. I'm gonna have 3 and a half years more in Korea, so i gotta make the most out of it, so set everything right, to walk on the right path with God, and to focus...Talking about focus, thinking about going back to Malaysia has really been distracting me a lot recently. Critical Thinking and Microsoft Office Specialist test is over, i'll be having 1 tomorrow and 2 more on Thursday. Really hope i can do well.. And the lessons i've learnt from this exam, when it's time to focus i must focus!!

Sorry lots of thoughts have been going through my mind lately, been doing a lot of reflecting. So i guess i have loads of post with thoughts..

Sometimes i wonder which direction is the correct one to take. Which one is right? Which one is the wiser one? Should i take the road less taken by people? I've taken a great leap step of faith by coming to Korea. Now what? 4 months is coming to an end. What have i learned so far? Is it worth it at the end of the day? Is it worth sacrificing? Queations which can't be answered by now.

Ok just woke up from bed.. it's like 1pm.. I slept at 5am yesterday trying to finish up my assignments.. and finally i'm almost done! 300 words left..

Time for lunch and study time..

So exam's gonna happen next week.. T.T so what have I been up to this week? Lots of late night studying.. (i wonder) or is it just chatting and settling problems which can't seem to be settled so easily? anyways i do not wanna think about those problems which has been clouding my mind for the past 6 months or so. It's really not easy to come up with a solution that is perfect for everybody..

Anyways, in order to encourage me to study more.. My roommates, Chris, Eric, I and Christine from the girls side decided to have the EXCITING food trip.. I think the 2 food which i'm going to show it's really worth mentioning..

Bam bam ? nah i'm not gonna eat him.. Don't worry..

Hardworking students.. Or so it seems.. Rushing for their journalling which they were suppose to hand up the next day..

U know what? We took 1 hour just to find the right shop to have our dinner.. There was no regret eating this pizza.. Peperoni pizza..

It's surely yummy!! RM10 per person for 2 pizzas.. This is the cheapest pizza which we were able to find..

This is what i had today!! It is really really delicious!! Pork ribs with black pepper and chilli pepper.. It's the best soup which u can have in Korea! and the only spicy korea dish which i really enjoy eating..

So i'm done with all major assignments! Just gotta finish my balance of 1k for the Understanding Korean culture. Hopefully i'll be able to finish it by tonight and start studying by tomorrow! please pray for me for the next week k? I may not blog next week because of exams.. and guess what? i think i just got myself a part time job!! ^^

Fairytales?

Many tales are not as sweet as the ones we read in fairytales. I've finally come to a point that there is no more point holding on to what's already been gone. What's left now is to just put the shattered and broken heart and let God love me. I know i've been trying so hard with my own strength to fix the mistakes, trying so hard to unwind the mistakes i've done in the past, in my relationship. Many things i did was for my selfish intention, and when that happens, true love may just be blurred out.

It really does hurt and it brought me to months of tears because i was still holding on to hopes which i thought that could still be hopeful of. But now's the time to just SURRENDER. thanks soppie for telling me to surrender everything ba. I know i've been judgemental but i shall let God jugde it ba.. I know from my point of view everything seems to be right but i know from yr point it's not the same le.. We've seperated into different paths therefore we think differently too.

Thanks for everything. ANd i truly believe that everything does not happen by chance, whether good or bad, and everything happens for a reason and for our future which is planned by God.

What a good way to start the month!

This is definitely a good way to start the month! 1st of all, i'm so so happy for this month because i'll be going back to Malaysia! It's been 3 months plus since i'm here in Korea so i guess it's time for me to go back to Malaysia to spend time with my family and my friends, get a part time job, and eat eat eat!!! Today was a great day for me because after the usual morning meeting, our class had free buffet because this is gonna be our last week before the exam starts.

I've been looking around for guitars too for the past few days. I'm hesistating whether should i get a electric guitar in Korea since i'm gonna be here for 4 years? Haven't consulted my parents regarding this idea but i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Ibanez ART100.. I know it may look like a epiphone but who cares? hahaha.. really hope i can get a green light from my parents.. T.T

Everbody was forced to wear semi-formal because it was the last day..

Everyday life in Korea

Haha i'm getting lazy to blog nowadays.. I guess it's because of the assignments that has been pilling up my desk last week.. Finally during the last weekend i decided to sit down and just focus on my assignments.. Rainy days here in Korea is different from Malaysia.. Here when it rains it rains the whole day.. And all i can do is just sit in my dorm and do nothing.. hahahah....

rain rain, go away... Rainy days do influence my mood.. Just feeling like sleeping. Emotionally down... But i'm alright now.. ^^

This is what i had on Saturday.. Tuna Kimbab and cheese burger..

So is basically like sushi. Filled with tuna, raddish, rice, and crab stick... IT's quite filling...

Didn't know korean burger taste as nice as Macdonald...

Had Bible study on Sunday after church.. The biggest group after 2 months of having it..

We had shabu shabu that day.. Didn't take pictures cause i've taken it last time...

Decided to try pizza during one of the days.. Because they said it was quite delicious.. But it was just fine.. Nothing great about it.. This is cheap pizza so ya can't expect much of it.. Paid RM12 for 2 pizzas..

An unexpected God.

God surely works His way which sometimes we do not even understand. I prayed a prayer, I asked God to teach me to control my anger. In fact He did in His own ways. I really didnt' see it coming. Rather than God removing the anger from my heart which i know it is quite impossible, He gave me more trials and challenges which tested me emotionally. For the past few days I've been so consumed with anger, grudge, and hatred because things are not going the way I've expected it to be. The truth indeed hurts and sometimes it sucks, because it may not how I want it to be.

In church today, I was reminded again, that our prayers, there are either answered, not answered or we have to wait until it gets answered. I assumed that God didn't answer my prayer to control my anger. I complained and was so fustrated by all the challenges He has given me that generated more and more of my anger. Thankfully I've learned a lot through the video above and also through the sermon. Who said that a life following Jesus would be easy? Who said it would be easier? In fact, it can be harder too. There are many examples in the Bible where we see Christians leaders suffered so much for Christ. Take for example Stephen in the book of Acts. He was called by God to do beyond what he was supposed to do, which was to give food to the widows. Instead he spread the gospel in Samaria, perform miraculous signs and wonders and proclaimed the name of the Lord. A disciple named Philip went out all the way and spread the Good news even to people who were not of the same culture. Philip even baptised an eunuch( a guy without private parts), which is not allowed in the Jewish culture during that time.

God speaks to us with the help of the Holy Spirit. There are times where i complained so much about why such things should happen. But now I believe that everything happens for a reason. It may not what i wish to see now or in the near future. But it's certainly in the big picture like how God wants it to be.

Daryll, thanks for the verse you've given me yesterday. It really helped me a lot in the situation I'm in now. I really needed that. It's taken from 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. It is written: But he said to me, " My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power my rest on me.

My weaknesses has certainly been exposed for the past 2 days. I'm really sorry if i raged my anger at whosoever, whatsoever and for whatever reason. I know i've been releasing a lot to a certain person, u know who you are and i'm terribly sorry. But that's a weakness which i'm trying my very best to work on. It's not gonna be easy but life is a learning process.

I hope this post will somehow manage to speak to some of you out there. Be careful what you pray for. God may answer it in a way you least expected. But remember, God's plan is to prosper you and not to harm you. The whole picture will be revealed in the future to you. God bless.

Walking in the light

Today is really a reflecting day to me. Wrote 2 e-mails which i've never thought of writing but ended up writing. I guess i want to be walking in the light and not have a double life anymore. I want to be the same in anyplace. I want to be who i am to whoever i'm with without having to have 2 attitudes. So yeah..

Had student festival for the past 3 days. It was so so. Not to great.. It's new to me but i really expected it to be better.. maybe i had too much expectation for the event. But the great news is all my classes during the afternoon from wed-fri is cancelled!! wohoo!!

Can't wait to go home!! another 5 weeks and i'll be home in Malaysia!!!! yes yes yes!

sorry for not uploading my post often because there's not much interesting stuffs going on lately.. i'll try to find some interesting stuffs ok? maybe take more pictures of korean food.. hahahaha..

Title says it all.. last Friday, a classmate of mine, named sojin, decided to bring the foreign students and another korean friend back to her hometown which is 2 hours 30 minutes from cheonan.. Main reason? FLOWER FESTIVAL!! Yes you heard me right.. It's seriously awesome ok? ok enough talking.. Let the pictures do the talking.. Sorry for not updating my blog often.. Sometimes i do not know what picture to upload.. haha.. but last weekend, after my one week exam, i decided to take a break and have some fun in MyeongDong.. So yeah pictures all the way that summarize what i did the whole day.. Basically in the 5 hours when i was there we were just walking walking, shopping shopping, and nothing else.. haha.. but it was kinda fun cause this shopping experience is indeed very different from the ones in Malaysia. I guess malls like 1-utama is not common here in Malaysia. Shops at streets at the same time shoplots are the norm here.. like what we normally see in Japanese shows.. Okok enough talking..

I think that everything happens for a reason. Just in my last post i was so emotionally down because of the many things that have happened in such a short time.. i guess i gotta learn that all things will not go according to how i want it, but according to how God wants it. It's very painful when that news came to me. But i guess through that event God's love was showed to me.. Even today when i went to church and i watched how God changes Brian Welch, a former Korn guitarist who's life is changed because of God's love. I guess that wat i need most now. Ok folks! Updates from what i did on Sunday till today... This week is really a stressful week for me as i'm having my mid-term exams... So far so good.. really hope that i'll do well for my exams..

Sunday
Had lunch with a few church members after church for Bible study.. this time it was a little different cause we had lunch and Bible study at the same time.. i really love shabu-shabu in Korea.. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth the money!! this is like the final serving of the shabu shabu meal.. Fried rice.. so so yummy!!

This week it's been really cold too.. It was raining the whole day on Monday.. took this picture while i was doing voluntary work.. tried to focus on the raindrops but my phone can't do the job.. T.T this is the best i managed to do...

Took this after taekwondo promotion test.. the main reason why i was attracted by it was the 2 different kind of flowers in one plant.. (i think) haha.. looks pretty huh?

so that's about it.. I'm done with 2 papers and one major assignment!! 2 more to go and i'm free from mid-term!! i'm so looking forward for this Sunday!! :)

Sorry for posting so many many pictures.. This is because i've been really busy last week doing assingments and preparing for my exam.. I'll be having my mid-term next week so i guess i'll be having a break from blogging for a week.. And now!! For what i've been doing since last Saturday till now...

Saturday

A few of us from class went to the museum and spring festival.. Both of the places is located in Seoul.. So far away from Cheonan.. T.T 2 hours 30 minutes in the subway.. i can't believe it's normal for them.. It was a very very tiring day.. But yet a fun day.. xD

Reached the museum around 11.30.. We were all hungry.. Museum food was so expensive.. So we decided to just walk and see what was around so that we can grab a bite.. Our walk ended up for almost 45 minutes.. 0.5KM.. i thought 15 minutes can reach d.. guess i was wrong.. we walked till the next station and had our lunch in I-Park Mall..

Thursday

On thrusday, my kind kind sweet Korean language lecturer decided to end class early and bring us for a very very yummy meal.. It's not cheap for this so much meat!! But it was really good.. BBQ pork and chicken i think.. Not so sure though.. But it's yummy!!

Only thing which i enjoyed was the food and fellowship..

Went to church.. After church went out with a pastoral intern and David(a korean guy from another uni.) for lunch at yawoori.. The food was awesome!!

Yesterday.. After computer class, my friend told us that lotte mart's chinese shop was having a 50% discount on all their food!! It was very very cheap!! But it wasn't exacly chinese.. ><>

I don't know why but i'm always fascinated by the raddish.. THe korean loves it but i dislike it..

My friend had neng mian (cold noodles) which i didn't really fancy because the food was freezing.. See those transparent big cubes? it's ice! I guess i'm not used to Cold foods..

Went to my basic computer skills's lecturer's house for chruch fellowship.. But sadly we were the only ones there with their neighbour.. But nevertheless we enjoyed ourself.. I didn't know the game UNO is not famous in Korea.. >< hahaha..

Finally.. After waiting for almost 3 weeks, my dorm is packed with ppl.. 4 including me to be exact.. >< haha.. 2 of my classmates shifted to my room on tuesday i think... so yeah.. at least got somebody to talk to on weekdays.. but they'll be goin back during weekends to spend time with their family..

Yesterday was also a fun day for me.. Had Tae Kwon Do class which i was starting to like it.. Although i gotta remember all the moves but i guess it's good exercise for me as i'm lacking of exercise here in Korea.. To cold to jog around..

It was kinda stressed up for me after Tae Kwon DO class because we had our 1st english chapel in the university.. Nobody did the worship so i was the only one that gotta prepare everything a day before!! thankfully things were quite ok and it wasn't so bad.. Chris did a good job on the piano too.. xD hopefully it'll be better next week when we'll have a time slot to practice!!

Saturday and Sunday was quite alright for me compared to last saturday..Thankfully i've not much home sick.. And guess what? I'm coming back during summer break! That was something i didn't expect.. >< And finally i got rid of my old headphones which has a faulty micrphone.. ish ish..

I guess one of the reason why i wasn't homesick compared to last week is because i had a half malaysian meal for saturday and sunday! i was too lazy to go out to hunt for food so i ate this for all my meals.. ><>

Cool huh? You know i didn't use any cookin utensils to make my meal? only hot water..

Guess what? there's such thing as instant rice.. just put in hot water or in the microwave and you can eat it!

It really do taste like rice.. So yeah finally i can eat rice and enjoy Malaysian food.. yes yes yes!! So happy.. :)

God is Good!

God is really good to me here! Although i'm lonely at times and homesick at times..But He still cares and is here to answer my prayer even in the simplest way Just few days ago i bought some eggs because i've not been eating eggs eversince i'm in Korea. As you all can see closely the date

is written in year, month, and day. When i saw the date i was so sad because i thought my eggs were already expired. I was sad and i complained to God, my brother, Soppie, because i felt i was being cheated..

Although i didn't really ask God to give me eggs in the food menu, I was so suprised that today's lunch menu in the cafeteria was spicy mushroom soup with egg! I was so delighted and happy! I ate happily and enjoyed my meal. After that i went to e-mart because i wanted to buy some bread and groceries. But to my amazement when i saw the eggs all the date was dated today? So i was suprised and i asked my friend was that the manufactured date or the expiry date. He then told me that it was the manufactured date.. -.- i gave that expression.. haha.. thank God i didn't throw my eggs away.. Looks like i'll have more eggs to eat than i've expected! Thank you God! :)

My Alien Registration Card is also ready.. It was expected to be done in 2 weeks but it was done yesterday! Thank God! I've also opened my bank account without any complications.. Now i've gotta settle my handphone.. the last thing left on my list.. Hopefully they won't charge high prices for foreigners like me.. T.T
